The Forensic Unit, whose primary responsibilities are to process crime scenes, which includes photographs, latent prints, blood splatter pattern analysis and the collection of other trace evidence. The Forensic Unit must mark, collect and package other trace evidence and send it to the GBI and FBI labs for processing.
